Pope Benedict XVI offered a series of reflections on St. Augustine during his regular Wednesday General Papal Audiences in 2008.
Calling Augustine “the greatest Father of the Latin Church,” the Pope spoke on three occasions to the people gathered in the Paul VI Audience Hall in Vatican City about Augustine's life, his thought and his pastoral ministries.
