Serving as Prior General and living in Rome, Father Prevost witnessed the pontificates of St. John Paul II, Pope Benedict XVI, and Pope Francis. In his role as Prior General, he gained deep insight into the worldwide Church and the Augustinian Order as he visited Augustinian missions and apostolates in over 50 countries on every continent. Fr. Prevost will share his personal experiences as the former leader of the Order and the knowledge he gained on the Church and the Augustinians as they invite people to a transformative encounter with Christ.
Father Scianna, recently re-elected to a second four-year term as Prior Provincial of the Midwest Augustinians, oversees the Augustinians in the Midwestern United States, Canada, and Northern Peru. He will discuss the blessings and challenges of spreading the Gospel from an Augustinian perspective.
Whether you are a current or former member of an Augustinian parish, an alumnus of an Augustinian school or have children enrolled in one now, have enjoyed the friendship or pastoral care of an Augustinian, or would like to learn more about St. Augustine, one of the greatest figures of the Church, you will be inspired and refreshed by the beauty and goodness of the Augustinians. Join us as we announce the Good News of the Kingdom of God.
