On the morning of Monday, June 4, the delegates of the Midwest Augustinian Province officially opened their week-long Provincial Chapter and promptly elected Fr. Anthony Pizzo, OSA, as the incoming Prior Provincial.

Fr. Pizzo, who has been serving as the Pastor of St. Rita of Cascia Parish in Chicago, will be installed as Prior Provincial at an evening prayer service at St. Rita Shrine Chapel this Wednesday, June 6. The service will begin at 6:30 PM, and all are invited to attend.

The June 6 installation will also bring to a close Fr. Bernie's 8-year tenure as Prior Provincial. Please see the latest issue of our magazine for a recap of Fr. Bernie's time as Provincial, as well as a farewell letter from him.

Stay tuned to our website and follow our social media for more updates on our transition of leadership! Keep us in your prayers!

Our friars ask that, in lieu of gifts of gratitude or congratulations, you make donations in their name to the ongoing Year of Vocations campaign to support new Augustinians!
