Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, a parish staffed by an Augustinian pastor in Edwardsburg of Southwestern Michigan, will host a groundbreaking for its church expansion and renovation project on Sunday, March 2. The celebration will include 10:30 Mass led by Most Reverend James Murray, retired bishop of Kalamazoo diocese, Rev. Robert Prevost, O.S.A., former Prior General and Very Rev. Bernard Scianna, O.S.A., Ph.D., Provincial. Following the Mass, a groundbreaking ceremony will take place with a reception in the Social Hall. The $2.2 million project will include an expanded worship environment to seat 450, a large gathering space, renovated offices, expanded parking and also improvements to the food pantry space in the lower level.
