New photo gallery: Welcoming the Novitiate of 2013/2014

In August, 2013, men from across the United States and even further points in the world joined together as they vested their novice habits for the first time.  They will spend one year together in community at the Augustinian parish of St. Rita of Cascia in Racine, Wisconsin, in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee.

The novitiate is the final step of Augustinian formation before they profess vows.  From that point, their Augustinian formation continues further, but they are considered "professed" and then wear the black habit.
