Feasts of Sts. Augustine & Monica

  • Holy Name Cathedral 730 N Wabash Ave Chicago, IL, 60611 United States (map)
Augustinians at Holy Name Cathedral Chicago

St. Augustine is one of the most influential saints throughout all of Christianity.  His mother, St. Monica, has served as a role model for mothers across the entire world.  This year, please join the Augustinians for a very special Feast Day celebration for both of these saints at Holy Name Cathedral in downtown Chicago.  We invite one and all to come to this very special event!

At the event, we'll witness Br. Richie Mercado, O.S.A., Profess His Solemn Vows

In this call to religious life, we may think that we are the first ones to seek God that’s why we are in this kind of life. However, it is God who first sought us, called us, and loved us.
— Br. Richie Mercado, O.S.A.
