Six Men Enter Novitiate in Racine

This Fall the Bl. Stephen Bellesini Community welcomed six men into the Novitiate in Racine Wisconsin. Among them are three men from the Midwest Province: Tom Abbott, age 23, from Grand Blanc MI; Spencer Thomas, age 24, from Tulsa OK; and Ray Flores, age 44, from La Cruces, NM. The Novitiate is a year-long program of prayer, contemplation, and education in Augustinian Spirituality, which precedes the commencement of theology studies.

The Novitiate in Racine accepts novices from English-speaking Provinces from around the world. Our three men from the Midwest will thus have the opportunity to share their year of formation with Stephen Shields, from the Province of Ireland, David Tan, from the Province of England and Scotland, and Emmanuel Isaac, from the California Province.
