Pizza-Making Staff Development Day at St. Jude Parish
Fr. Ray Flores, left, joined with the St. Jude staff to bond over learning to make pizza from scratch.
The parish and school staff of St. Jude Church and St. Jude School in New Lenox recently came together for a delicious Staff Development Day activity: a pizza-making class led by instructors Jason and Lara.
Sixteen pizzas and plenty of memories were made as staff members rolled up their sleeves, dusted off their hands, and discovered the joy of crafting something together from scratch.
Events like this remind the St. Jude community that learning together can also be an important part of the faith experience — even something as simple as making a pizza. Sharing a meal, even one you've made yourself, is one of the oldest and most human forms of togetherness.
A big thank you to Jason and Lara for leading the group through such a fun and memorable experience, and to all the St. Jude staff who brought their enthusiasm to the occasion.
