Fr. Tony Pizzo and Dr. Jim Foody Named Honorees for Augustinian Gala
Fr. Pizzo and Dr. Foody have been named as the honorees for the third annual Augustinian Gala on April 24, 2015 in Chicago. We will also have a special “Diamond Jubilee” remembrance for the late Fr. Ray Ryan. Learn more about each of them here in this press release.
Bishop-elect Robert Prevost's Coat of Arms
On November 3, 2014, the Vatican announced that Pope Francis named the Most Reverend Robert F. Prevost, O.S.A., to be the fourth Bishop of Chiclayo, Peru. Bishop-elect Prevost is scheduled to be ordained a bishop in Chiclayo, Peru, on December 12, 2014, the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Our Lady of the Lake Parish Dedicates New Church

Tulsa City Councilor, G.T. Bynum, Joins Augustinian Advancement Council
G.T. Bynum, Tulsa City Councilor, was recently appointed to serve a two-year term on the Augustinian Advancement Advisory Council. The Very Rev. Bernard C. Scianna, O.S.A., Ph.D., who is the Augustinians’ Prior Provincial and former Headmaster of Cascia Hall, appointed Bynum to serve on the council.
Pope Francis Names Donatus Aihmiosion Odun, O.S.A. Bishop in Nigeria
Yesterday, Wednesday, 6 November 2014, the news was announced that Donatus Aihmiosion Ogun, OSA, of the Province of Nigeria, has been named by Pope Francis as Bishop of the Diocese of Uromi, Edo State, Nigeria. Read this announcement from the Prior General here:

Pup-Pup Has Learned Spanish
Fr. Terry Deffenbaugh, O.S.A.’s highly acclaimed book, No Longer a Stray: The Gospel According to Pup-Pup (Scepter, 2005), presents the Gospels through the eyes of Pup-Pup, a fictional stray dog adopted by a young Jesus. The book has been translated into Spanish, and Pup-Pup's narrative can be read in that language.
