Throughout April the Augustinian Prior General (or worldwide leader of Augustinians) visited our communities from Rome.  The Prior General holds a "visitation" once every 6-year term for each Augustinian Province across the world.  Enjoy these photos from his visit here!

With great joy and happiness, we honored three very deserving men on April 24, 2015 at our third Augustinian Gala at the Drake Hotel.  It was a privilege to honor Fr. Tony Pizzo, OSA; Deacon Jim Foody, MD; and the late Fr. Ray Ryan, OSA.  Please enjoy these photos taken from the event!

Our brother Fr. James Gerald “Jerry” Ryan, OSA died in the early morning of April 29, 2015.  At age 94, he was the third-oldest friar in the Midwest Province of Our Mother of Good Counsel.  Read more for more about Fr. Ryan's life and funeral arrangements.

Following recent announcements over the past few weeks, the Augustinians are pleased to announce that 2 more laypeople from Delta, British Columbia, Canada (near Vancouver), will join 17 others in being named Affiliates of the Augustinian Order.  Affiliation is the highest honor that the Augustinian Order can bestow upon an individual.  Read more about who they are here:

Today is the 150th anniversary of the end of the U.S. Civil War, the country's bloodiest war.  Churches and schools with bells are invited to join a nation-wide observance of the war's end by ringing their bells at 2:15 p.m. Central Daylight Time.  Learn more here.
