Following an extensive national search, Rev. Anthony B. Pizzo, O.S.A., Prior Provincial of the Midwest Augustinians, announces the appointment of Dr. James Quaid as President of St. Rita of Cascia High School.
Join the Campaign: 40 Days of Prayer and Fasting
You are invited to join with Catholics and other persons of faith during the 40 days beginning October 16, 2019 and ending November 24, 2019 to PRAY and FAST for justice in the treatment the estimated 15,000* children being kept in detention and policies supporting family unity.
Augustinians Re-Elect Prior General for Second Term
At the opening of the second week of the General Chapter of the Order of Saint Augustine, the delegate friars re-elected Fr. Alejandro Moral Antón, O.S.A. as Prior General of the Order. With this re-election, Fr. Alejandro will serve a second six-year, which goes into effect immediately.
Prior Provincial Celebrates 40th Anniversary with Mass in Rome (Homily Included)
Fr. Tony Pizzo, O.S.A. was able to celebrate his 40th Anniversary of Profession in a truly blessed way, as he was invited to say Mass on the morning of the first day of the Augustinian General Chapter at our Curia in Rome.
